Chelsea Fringe: Botanical Textiles
Morley College Garden is a little green oasis of tranquillity, just minutes’ walk from busy Waterloo Station. The Morley textile tutors opened our secret garden especially for the Chelsea Fringe to give you a taste of the wide range of textile courses we offer, using natural materials from our own flowerbeds.
We used natural dyes from the new dye garden to dye fabric and make felt flowers, and also created handmade paper and woven basketry flowers using plant fibres from the garden. We offered 2 hour workshops in each skill.
£20 per workshop.
